Features
Microsoft SQL
Server 7/2000
Microsoft SQL Server 7/2000 is
capable of supporting even the most demanding web applications.
Microsoft SQL Server is a robust enterprise-caliber relational
database server that is designed for enterprise databases. It is
similar to and competes with Oracle and Informix.
All customers that are utilizing
Microsoft SQL server are given database owner privileges. This
means that you will have full control of your database once it has
been created, however you will need to contact our support staff
to create your database.
Microsoft
Access
In order for a site to be able to
use ASP in conjunction with a Microsoft Access database,
extensions for the database must be installed on the web server so
that they can interact properly. We setup an ODBC System DSN (data
source name) which points to a Microsoft Access database file
within your site. The database file is placed in a data directory
outside of the content directory for security purposes. You also
have the ability to setup an unlimited amount of DSN-less
connections to Microsoft Access database files.
